Why OmniLearn®?

OmniLearn® was created to fill a hole in the delivery of effective training and follow-up assessments. We observed that typical performance management systems, multi-rater and 360° assessments, and traditional supervisory training programs were failing to fulfill their potential. Based on the richness of the knowledge and data each of these tools provides to corporate leaders, these processes should yield high impact. However, the developmental and follow-up opportunities resulting from the use of these tools were virtually nonexistent.

Why? Research tells us that as much as 80% of what adults learn in class is forgotten in the first few months. Furthermore, we know that practice and follow-up related to job performance are essential to making training impactful and measurable in the workplace. However, most efforts regarding assessment, performance management and development begin and end with training events. What is missing is a simple process to integrate learning, feedback and assessment into the workday.

As Michael Dell, CEO of Dell Computers, shared with his audience at a recent training conference, good learning results from hard-hitting content divided into small, incremental lessons. We agree – as long as you add real-time practice to change learning from an event into a process. We couldn’t find anything like this in the marketplace, so we proceeded to create it.

Simplicity and Easy Access

Our patented Learner Support System (LSS) is designed to facilitate the timed delivery of learning, practice and reinforcement to an increasingly mobile work force. Learners can access lessons at their own pace, with delivery and completion in less than two minutes. Guided Practice Activities are delivered to email, pager, cell phone or PDA, allowing learners to integrate their daily practice anywhere. Our system is designed to be user friendly and to provide learning to all learners in just 2 minutes per day.
